Utilitarian English Oak Refectory Table
A Utilitarian English Oak Refectory Table circa 1945
In good sturdy condition with an authenticity rustic appearance. Comprised of a generous width Top of 42” and 6 ft long. Turned legs leading down to an chunky square foot with stop chamfered detail. The centre stretcher rail makes for comfortable seating and lends its self well to a fine foot rest as can be seen by the worn patina. It will sit 6 people with space and ease and would accommodate 8 quite well also.
This will look great in a traditional dining room setting or as a farmhouse style kitchen table which often is the hub of the house these days. There’s no work needed to this lovely piece of antique furniture, just put some chairs around it and load it up with Christmas cheer.
